We are looking for a Legal Counsel, Senior to help manage all legal issues and support the business on a variety of legal matters across the globe.

Reporting to the Group Legal Director, Head of Legal (Global), this is a hire for the global legal team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the continuing development of LemmaTree, Temasek group's venture-building holding company, which pioneers change through building ventures based on decentralised technologies and focuses on providing all communities with trusted ownership, sharing, and distribution of their data.

This role is based out of Singapore.


What's in it for you:


  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts, customer agreements, service agreements and any other contractual documentation.
  • Structuring, reviewing, negotiating all M&A transactions across the globe including fundraising, investment transactions by the group.
  • Working on corporate restructurings.
  • Providing legal advice on new business ventures, product development and product launches.
  • Working on compliance needs of the group including overseeing the corporate secretarial function.
  • Working on regulatory needs of the group.
  • Working on intellectual property needs of the group.
  • Assisting in implementation of legal tech solutions in the group.
  • Conducting legal research and prepare briefing papers for internal teams.
  • Developing and administering internal processes to assist the business.
  • Advising on miscellaneous employment and HR issues.
  • Undertaking corporate governance work for the group.
  • Assisting LemmaTree entities in their daytoday legal work.

You will be a great match if you possess:

  • Singapore qualified lawyer with around 4-5 years PQE.
  • Experience in M&A, corporate commercial contracting.
  • Excellent knowledge and indepth understanding of corporate laws and procedures.
  • High work standards.

Technical & Personal Skills:


  • Excellent writing, organisational and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own caseload.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business.
  • Collaborative and highly capable in building trust internally and externally
  • Proactive in areas of identifying and working on legal risks and enjoys taking initiatives
  • Considering that Lemmatree is a fastpaced, an ability to deal with ambiguity, pivot, adapt and provide flexible and pragmatic solution driven approach.
  • Willing to work in the digital and information age and should have preparedness to use technology tools.
  • A sense of humor.
