    The Opportunity

    We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager, AMENA, to join our Marketing team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Marketing Director URT, AMENA, the primary purpose of this position is to drive the future growth strategy of Cough, identifying and evaluating portfolio gaps and developing launch strategies and plans within existing and new markets, building brand presence and saliency, driving expertise and recommendation and improving consumer accessibility

    Key accountabilities include:

    • Support the delivery of net sales target, EBITA and SOM targets for the assigned brands across the AMENA region.
    • Support the development and execution of brand plans to meet the growth and financial targets for the signed portfolio.
    • Ensure a consumer-centric mindset is at the forefront of all brand activity, with the identification and development of compelling consumer insights
    • Help deliver optimal marketing ROI on A&P investments and resources and oversee the development of regional assets for multi-market adoption. Ensure all brand activations are executed and managed in compliance with relevant regulations and corporate policies. Support agency briefings and comms presentations as required by markets.
    • Lead the regional digital marketing strategy, execution and evaluation with the intent to optimise brand assets and performance.
    • Leverage appropriate platform analytics to evaluate and validate digital marketing performance
    • Partner with cross-functional groups to ensure that there is consistency of professional business strategies and regulatory compliance of all advertising and promotional materials
    • Lead, direct and control marketing policies, programs and activities ensuring that they comply with marketing codes, regulations and standards to protect the company's reputation.
    • Monitor, analyse and evaluate market trends and competitor activity to identify market opportunities, adjusting marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
    • Identify and evaluate portfolio gaps and comply with the iGate process requirements. This includes supporting the evaluation and analysis of global/regional NPD initiatives. Develop launch strategies as appropriate
    • Lead best practice learnings and training programs to improve in-market digital and eCommerce capabilities
    • In collaboration with Commercial Excellence, drive optimal revenue growth management (RGM) through the alignment of pricing guidelines and a clear portfolio strategy

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will possess a recognised university degree and/or Masters/MBA qualification with a minimum of 10 years' experience in FMCG/Consumer Healthcare marketing.

    Other key requirements for this role include:

    • A strong consumer centric mindset with proven success in brand management and development
    • Strong brand advertising and promotion experience, specifically experienced in Digital marketing and eCommerce strategy, execution and evaluation.
    • A strategic thinker with financial acumen who is able to contribute effectively to brand planning and budgeting
    • Able to collaborate and work with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Strong analytical skills to support the identification and development of growth opportunities and optimisation of brand strategies
    • A self-starter who is flexible and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done
    • A team player who is able to influence and work well with all stakeholders across different cultures
    • Pragmatic, creative and able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
    • Ability to multi-task, work independently with attention to detail
    • Strategic agility and analytical thinking, with numerical reasoning
