Team Introduction
ByteDance Procurement aims to provide high-quality purchasing solutions for ByteDance and establish a global platform for purchasing resources.

Through providing professional management of procurement resources, selecting high-quality suppliers, and managing supplier performance, we aim to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance of ByteDance procurement behavior, fostering a healthy long-term business environment.

Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring their performance and addressing any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads and project managers, to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic guidance.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities. And output deep insight which is able to bring further benefit to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies in all procurement activities.
Implement and maintain procurement best practices to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems.
Willingness to travel within the APAC region including MY, VN, ID, TH as needed.
Able to deal with ambiguity, conflict management, and change management

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPM, CPP, or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, preferably in a multinational organization.
In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, best practices, and market trends in the APAC region.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools such as SAP and Coupa.
