- Work with production in all continuous improvement projects related to cost, quality and productivity
- Work with R&D engineers, production and quality team to automate manufacturing processes and develop necessary technical competencies and equipment capabilities.
- Review design for manufacturing (DFM), assembly processes, test and qualification processes to reduce product cost and improve product quality.
- Work with R&D engineers, production and quality team to troubleshoot and apply root cause analysis methodologies to identify, provide countermeasures and derive implementation plans for RMA motors.
- Work with project management team and ensure daily production schedule are met.
- Support NPI manufacturing processes transition to mass production.
- Design and fabricate tools, jigs and fixtures to support production.
- Monitor production yield/reject/scrap rate.- Review non-conformance parts disposition.
- Mentor and train operators on new manufacturing processes.
QUALIFICATIONS - Preferably with 2 Year(s) of working experience in manufacturing, automation or precision engineering field/industry is required for this position.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree and/or equivalent, preferrably in mechanical, machatronics or manufacturing Engineering and/or any other relevant course of study.
OTHER INFORMATION
Skillset(s) Requirement:- Computer literacy is a must for Microsoft office Excel, Word, Powerpoint and email.
- Well versed in english and chinese as production operators are majority chinese speaking.
- Well versed in 3D CAD software such as AutoCad/Solidworks.
- Knowledge in manufacturing methodoloy such as six sigma/lean manufacturing concepts is advantageous.Attributes:
