Job Description (JD) - Junior Application Consultant

Position: Junior Application Consultant
Experience: 2-5 years

Responsibilities:

1. System Implementation and Integration:Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
   Assist in the implementation and integration of software applications, ensuring seamless adoption.
2. Client Support:Provide frontline support to clients, addressing queries, issues, and enhancement requests promptly.
   Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve application-related problems.
3. Training and Documentation:Conduct training sessions for end-users on application functionalities and best practices.
   Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, processes, and user guides.
4. Configuration and Customization:Configure and customize applications based on client needs, ensuring optimal system performance.
   Work closely with the development team to implement necessary changes and updates.
5. Quality Assurance:Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, usability, and adherence to client requirements.
   Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify and address software defects.
6. Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs.
   Gather client feedback and communicate insights to the development team for continuous improvement.
7. Project Management:Assist in project planning, tracking, and coordination to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.
8. Continuous Learning:Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
   Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and training.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 2-5 years of experience in application consulting or a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application deployment processes.
4. Proficient in configuring and customizing applications, with a focus on user requirements.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
6. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Experience in client-facing roles and a customer-centric mindset.
8. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
9. Familiarity with relevant technologies and programming languages is a plus.
