- Contribute to bid preparation and project execution for offshore ammonia and hydrogen production projects.
- Undertake engineering design and support preparation of drawings in line with project specifications.
- Become familiar with types of vessels and their parts for FPSO.
- Become familiar with applicable industry codes and standards, and classification requirements.
- Carry out study of donor vessel piping and marine systems (for conversion to FPSO), analyses, investigations and assessments relating to marine engineering and topside design.
- Produce reports and presentations detailing the findings of investigations.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and shipyard, for engineering design, project specifications and resolve technical issues.
- Develop marine and piping related engineering drawings and specifications as required to undertake conversion work.
- Undertake technical evaluation of shipyard proposals with engineering team.
- Review shipyard engineering work for timely delivery of the facilities.
- Coordinate with classification society for surveys and reviews relating to shipyard work.
- Assist in preparation for bid submission to client, with compliant technical documentation.
- Assist in preparation for request for quotations, and evaluation of bids submitted by partners/subcontractors.
- Attend technical meetings, and minutes down the meeting, if required.
- Keep track of relevant discipline tasks.
- Comply with environmental impact assessment and safety-related design requirements.
- Documentation in accordance with Company's quality management system.
- Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices, and understand and follow HSE procedures.
- Note: Intern will be shadowing an experienced Project Engineer or Engineering Manager.
- Environmental Aspects & Impacts Assessment.
- OHS Hazardous & Risk Assessment.
- Follow HSE Regulations.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Engineering Degree course (Civil, Marine or related disciplines) at a local university.
- Aptitude and attitude to learn and experience marine engineering requirements, software tools, and other technical issues.
- Ability to obtain, interpret and apply relevant information for formulating sound engineering solutions under the supervision of senior staff.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- Knowledge in maritime and offshore services.
- Previous use of AutoCAD or other 2D / 3D software will be advantageous.
