Position Overview

The Data & Analytics Operation Manager's role is to lead the operations and technical support for global data platforms, reportings and other analytics products, across the Suntory Beverage Food International (SBFI) regions, mainly for APAC & Europe. The Data & Analytics Operation Manager will collaborate with business users, central DevOps team, and BAU team to 1). Maintain stability of the SBFI Lakehouse 2). Manage System & Reporting tickets raised by business users 3). Evolve current support & operation models.

As part of the Suntory Beverage & Food Global Data Engineering Team, you are expected to help business departments to drive their data analytics roadmap with your Data Engineering & Analytics skill sets. The mission of the SBFI Data Engineering Team is to create competitive advantage for the SBFI through analytics and superior insights that enables better & faster decisions leading to sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Platform & Products Operations (70%)

• Support global-wide data analytics platforms and products, including ETL pipelines (AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda Functions), databases (redshift, databricks), Power BI Reportings, Chatbots, etc.
• Act as the SPOC for business users for any data platforms & reporting escalations. Run the ITIL process for the data platforms. Identify the issues feedback by users, engage BAU team/SAP Team to work on fix and provide root-cause analytics for the issues.
• Act the SPOC for internal devops team for vendor account management and cloud service Develop long-term data operation framework and processes across data engineering, analytics enablement, and machine learning

2. Data Engineering Development (30%)

• Engage with business to prepare the manual data from business systems (web portals, business manual files), and make it ready for ETL pipelines consumption.
• Be part of the DevOps team, develop ETL Pipelines and make data ready for business consumption purpose.
• Conduct Power BI development (Dataflow, Dataset, Reports, etc) to make data visible to business users.
• Other data related development activities (Power Platform, Machine Learning, etc)

Experiences & Skills Requirements:

• Min Bachelor's degree in data or IT related field.
• 5 years experiences in data platform management, operations, development.
• Familiar with ITIL framework and process
• Familiar with Databases Concepts & SQL related skills (SSIS, SSAS, SQL Scripts, etc)
• Hands-on development experiences on AWS (Glue, Lambda, Step, S3, VPC, Code Commit, Redshift, KMS)
• Hands-on development experiences on Databricks & Power BI
• Good to have Azure knowledge (ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Logic Apps, Runbooks, Purview, etc)
• CI/CD Process & Agile PM Experiences
