Description

To support the Finance Manager with the Asia Business Unit providing timely and relevant financial information including monthly, half yearly and annual financial statements, budgets and forecasts.

To cultivate the financial 'one source of truth' that is accurate, reliable, and timely. To provide guidance to fellow Finance colleagues and assist in ad-hoc projects from time to time.


Monthly, Half Yearly and Annual Accounts

  • Responsible to the preparation of the monthly, half yearly and annual accounting packages
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the accounting information including GL reconciliations, inventory reports, sales rebate and incentive accruals
  • Monitoring of foreign currency accounts and capital expenditure
  • Preparation of full set management accounts, audit and related schedules, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
  • Responsible to the preparation of intercompany accounting and reconciliations of intercompany balances.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting policies, guidelines and internal control systems as well as adherence to statutory requirements
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to the completion of statutory reporting, including liaising with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary and government departments
  • Preparation of quarterly GST reporting and corporate tax computation and submission
  • Assist Finance Manager to manage daily accounting and financial operations including cash flows management, monitoring of accounts receivables and managing accounts payables

Analysis, Budgets & Forecasts

  • Provide support in the analysis of operating performance including variances, overheads and promotion spends.
  • Provide support to the commercial team and management to interpret the results and the Finance Manager with business unit monthly reviews.
  • Provide support in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Responsible for cost accounting, analysing and reporting cost movements.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis of management accounts and review of accounts receivables and stock

Pricing

  • Responsible for maintaining pricing templates and understanding data that populates the template.
  • Inventory Accuracy and Integrity
  • Responsible for the reconciliation, monitoring and reporting of inventory (high value, finished goods; dealing in multiple currencies from multiple sources
  • Completing revaluations, reconciliations and reporting of inventory for BU management.
  • Responsible for annual stock take
