    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Review, formulate, develop, and implement new policies to ensure the efficiency of the home. Work with directors and managers in reviewing and implementing policies to ensure a smooth flow of daily operations.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Oversee and coordinate nursing operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels, appropriate patient assignments, and efficient workflow within the nursing department.
    • Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
    • Monitor patient outcomes, evaluate care plans, and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality care.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing homes, including nursing standards, infection control protocols, and resident rights.
    • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
    • Act as a liaison between the nursing department and other departments within the nursing home.
    • Identify ongoing educational needs and provide training opportunities to nursing staff.
    • Implement programs and initiatives to enhance resident engagement and quality of life.
    • Prepare reports for senior management, regulatory bodies, and accreditation agencies as required.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
    • Must be a Registered Nurse from SNB.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care facility.
    • In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, geriatric care, and regulatory requirements governing nursing homes.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned.

    Working Hours & Location

    • West Area, West Coast
    • 8am - 530pm, 5 Days work week
