We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Program Trader to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in Singapore (Hybrid).

As the APAC Regional Manager of the FX Program Trading Execution Desk, you will be at the forefront of the evolution of a dynamic team and in a region critical to the business.

Your role will involve supervising and managing the desk's trading operations, ensuring efficient execution and enhancing execution capabilities across Developed, Emerging and Frontier Markets.


In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Lead and supervise the daily operations of a specialized team of Execution Traders engaged in the management of client orders in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.

Serve as a resource to senior leadership on trading, operational and market jurisdictional requirements.
Serve as the organization's expert on regional market conditions, liquidity and evolving regulatory landscape.

Senior leadership resource for regional client and liquidity provider relationships, serving as expert to both parties and an expert to internal legal and compliance teams that cover trading procedures and operations.

Contribute to the strategic enhancement of the desk's execution quality.
Oversee the design and development of the desk's execution practices, policies and procedures.

Ensure the standards for monitoring risk and maintaining adequate levels of liquidity are followed and follow regulatory requirements and the organization's strategies.

Ensure the appropriate risk management policies and procedures are adhered to regarding all trading activity.
Oversee the implementation of pricing strategies and risk management analysis in coordination with organizations risk leadership.
Provide oversight, analysis and leadership involving high-risk issues or problems.
Responsible for approving recommended solutions and long-term strategies for preventing issues from arising again.

Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

Provide feedback at the most critical times.
Manage a specialized team of Execution Traders
Responsible for achievement of many large and specialized team goals.
Ensure teams are equipped to operationalize and attain regional and global objectives.
Ensures appropriate financial, budgetary and human resource allocation


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
10-15 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred.
Experience in Custody FX or Emerging Markets FX trading, ideally in a leadership role preferred.
Proven tack record in risk management, optimizing execution strategies, provisioning liquidity providers and achieving profitable outcomes.
Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a diverse team of execution traders.
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for identifying market opportunities and potential risks.
Jurisdictional regulatory knowledge and commitment to compliance and best practices.
Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
