Job Responsibilities:

• Execute daily operations for both retail and on-site catering, including organizing displays, restocking shelves, ensuring the freshness and proper storage of food products, setting up counters, processing customer orders in compliance with food safety regulations, recording sales, and handling credit card transactions.
• Welcome and assist customers while accurately and efficiently taking their orders.
• Maintain a consistently appealing presentation of retail items.
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the shop and its equipment.
• Prepare orders for takeaway customers.
• Foster a positive attitude and actively promote the company's products and brand.
• Assist the shop manager with specific tasks such as receptions, stock control, and hygiene.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly with European cheeses and/or grocery products, is highly advantageous.
• Ability to handle a high volume of customers, with a customer-oriented and solution-driven approach.
• Cheerful, energetic, responsible, and sociable demeanor.
• Demonstrate teamwork, a positive learning attitude, and a willingness to share knowledge. Availability to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Possession of a valid Food and Safety certificate, preferably at level 1 (training will be provided if needed).
• Effective communication skills in English proficiency in other languages is a plus.

What we offer :

• 4 or 5 days work per week (44 hours).
• $2300 to 2700 monthly, depending on previous experience.
• Yearly discretionary bonus.
