About the Program


Being part of our Graduate Internship program means you will gain first-hand experience and insights to a career in markets.

You will have the opportunity to feel our culture, acquire valuable on-the-job training and expand your network. This program is a key pipeline for our Graduate Analyst Program in Asia.

The Graduate Internship will start around February/March 2024 and run for twelve weeks in our Singapore office. You will be provided with a brief orientation, followed by on-going training on the desk.

You will join one of the teams in Global Markets, ranging from Sales, Structuring, Trading, and Research, in order to give you a meaningful experience and help you develop by providing you with diverse responsibilities throughout the program.


Sales:

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, hedge funds, insurance companies and other corporate clients.


Trading:

Assisting the trading desk in buying and selling securities on behalf of clients or the firm; market making and capital commitment.


Structuring:

Designing and developing innovative products and strategies for Nomura's clients, in partnership with the trading function, to create a risk management strategy for structured transactions and, together with sales, to create a marketing strategy for our products.


Research:

Collecting, analysing and assessing industry and company information to assist the research analysts in providing market insight and investment ideas for institutional investors and internal clients.
