Our organization is seeking a IT Procurement Sourcing Lead to assist with Global IT Category procurement. In this role, you will focus on finding the best suppliers to support our business needs. This professional will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the quality of data used for spend analysis and reporting for our organization. Ensures quality of data by interpreting patterns and trends using digital tools and methods including data modeling and data mining. You will also conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine where we can improve, re-negotiating contracts with existing suppliers. You will have to spend time developing various approaches to procuring and contracting external support from the marketplace in line with current industry standards. Part of this involves researching suppliers and gathering information from vendor databases to support Category management leaders across the globe as part of decision-making process.

This role is essential to the efficiency and success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Purchase Analysis
• Manage various IT procurement projects that include the areas of purchasing, contracting sourcing and category management.
• Assist the team in IT Procurement related activities as needed
• Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by Global and Regional Category Leads
• Work with Global & Regional Category leads to formulate negotiation plans
• Analyze industry trends and market competitions to develop business improvement initiatives
• Understand business objectives so as to generate project information, action items, schedule and deliverables for the team

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of IT / procurement Sourcing or category management experience
• Must have professional sourcing/ category experience covering sourcing, contract negotiation, monitoring & reporting contract performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business administration, or accounting.
• Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop and negotiate IT Procurement deals.
• An MBA degree in supply chain management will be advantageous.
• More than five years' procurement analysis experience in a related industry.
• Proficiency in technology procurement and analytical software.
• In-depth business management and strategic sourcing knowledge.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
