Business Function


Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile.

We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Review documentation on Hire Purchase, Block Discounting, Floor Stock Financing as well as other banking facilities.
  • Ensure conditions precedent and disbursement conditions are complied with prior to activation and disbursement of facilities.
  • Review insurance policies for securities assigned to the Bank in accordance to Guidelines and ensure that Bank's interest is duly endorsed.
  • Liaise with Business, Support and Credit partners to address noncompliance, omission and/or deviations of approved terms and documents, if any.
  • Track and monitor the deadlines of Security/Conditions Precedent documents which are deferred for cases that have been activated and/or disbursed.
  • Review and improve end to end processes including automation and digitisation.
  • Participate in projects and user acceptance testing.
  • Prepare and review monthly statistical and escalation reports.

Requirements:


  • Degree in Business / Accountancy / Banking & Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar field preferred.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and multitask, work independently and under pressure.
  • Able to embrace changes and challenges.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Positive attitude and a team player.
