Kitchen Assistant for Schools - Singapore - FORTRESS INTELLIGENCE PTE. LTD.
Description
Assisting NFS department with daily tasks to ensure smooth delivery of NFS lessons- Preparing food ingredients for NFS lessons
- Monitoring stock level of food ingredients and reminding NFS department to replenish stock when required
- Maintain the general cleanliness of the kitchen including cleaning of table tops, sinks, cookers, ovens, fridges, sweeping and mopping of floor, washing of school tablecloths, aprons, any other food science equipment, etc.
- Ensuring safety compliance within kitchen at all times.
- Ensuring all equipment/ utensils are clean, stored properly and well maintained
- Operating basic kitchen equipment safely
- Any other duties assigned by the NFS department.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year relevant/prior experience as a Kitchen Assistant in educational institutions
- Knowledge of food preparation and ingredients
- Certified in food hygiene would be an added advantage
