This is a rapidly growing global energy trading MNC, with Singapore serving as its commercial Asia Pacific centre. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Market Risk Analytics Officer to support its global team.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Risk, the Market Risk Analytics Officer will be heavily involved in quantifying and validating of models, including VaR and stress testing methodologies. He/ She will have a strong understanding of how to identify, assess and mitigate risk for a global portfolio of complex instruments, and play a strong role in onboarding new products as well.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a finance discipline with at least 5 years' work experience in a commodities trading environment. You will also be self-motivated, a self-starter and yet a strong team player. Those with strong IT competencies in programming including VBA, Power BI, Python will be highly desirable. To excel in the role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
