1. To focus on Capability Development of New Vehicles (e.g.
Electric Vehicle )

To be able to perform High Value component fault finding, diagnosis and repair(e,g engine, turbo system, Cam bus, etc)
To possess knowledge of Vehicle System Overview with proper understanding of the interlink and Interlock systems onboard Commercial Vehicles
To perform Defect trend analysis
To lead Technical investigations and discussion
To lead the diagnostic Team
Manage Fleet Management study on operation vs durability studies
To submit Technical reports
To provide Technical Training and Guidance to technicians
To Source for local solutions to improve product durability and reliability
To support workshop in repair and servicing when need arises
Advise and perform in-depth and comprehensive trouble shooting in technical issues with and without using electronic diagnostic tools, raised by the team and perform hands-on repair to the vehicle if needed
Check and ensure all the recording of repair findings, rectification, photos, voice message or any other details as required are accurate and precise
Any other Duties assigned by Technical/ Operation Manager been assigned

Requirements:

Nitec in automotive engineering and relevant experience (industrial, commercial vehicles)
Able to use Electronic Diagnostic tools
Good understanding of engineering systems theory, mechanical, electrical drawings
Experience in leading a team of technicians, briefing and guidance of technicians, distribution and control of works
Preferably possess Class 5 license
