Description
[What the role is]You will join a multi-disciplinary team and play an important role in shaping modern and secured IT infrastructure such as cloud-based platforms, and data architecture.
You will also lead the delivery and operations of big data system project including onboarding of innovative projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML).
[What you will be working on]
You will be able to apply technical/ engineering concepts such as, but not limited to: 1. Data architecture frameworks, data architectures and data management systems;
2. IT service management;
3. Cyber and data security; and/or
4. Agile project delivery frameworks
In addition, you will develop deep capabilities in:
● Cyber and data security controls, monitoring and management; and/or
● Trained in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology and Information Systems or equivalent
● Experience in the following will be advantageous:
o Flight plan/ data processing, warehousing and management;
o IT project planning and service management;
o System and database administration;
o Government procurement and contract/ vendor management; and/or
o Writing approvals and tender specifications
● Able to quickly adapt to changing work environment
● Able to work both independently and as an active team member
● Good listener and able to articulate and write clearly
● Good stakeholder management skills
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience.
Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
