- Trade Execution: Execute end-to-end crude oil trades based on trading strategies and guidelines provided by the trading team.
- Contract Management: Draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers and buyers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with the company's objectives. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure efficient coordination of transportation, vessel scheduling, and storage facilities to optimize the delivery process. Develop and maintain relationships with shipping companies and terminals.
- Risk Management: Implement and monitor risk management strategies to minimize exposure to price volatility, counterparty risks, and operational risks. Conduct thorough market analysis and develop risk mitigation plans accordingly.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trades, trade confirmations, contracts, LCs, and financial transactions. Prepare regular reports on trading activities, performance, and market insights for senior management.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, traders, and other market participants. Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, and risk management to ensure smooth operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Trade, Logistic and Supply Chain, finance, economics, or business administration.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in crude oil trading operations, preferably within the petrochemical industry.
- In-depth understanding of the crude oil market, trading strategies, and logistics. Familiarity with Chinese and international regulations related to crude oil trading.
- Familiar with the terms of international trade contracts.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, as the role involves frequent communication with both English and Chinese speaking counterparts.
