    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    (a) The Candidate on duty at the provided premises shall perform the data screening and processing in a timely fashion to ensure that there is no unnecessary delay in acting on the screening requests routed into their inbox from the system.

    (b) The Candidate on duty shall report to the uniformed supervisor at the location of work during the stipulated working hours and comply with instructions from the supervisor.

    (c) The Candidate on duty shall provide services which include:

    (i) Performing of all screening requests

    · The Candidate on duty shall be given the necessary access rights to accounts and systems to carry out his or her duties after security clearance.

    (ii) Checking details of Pass Applicants against system and ensure Pass Applicants are properly processed

    · The Candidate on duty shall be required to correctly process each of the Jurong Island Pass applicant's details by performing the relevant check on system.

    · The Candidate shall verify the particulars of the applicant and ensure that there is no error in inputting the applicant's particulars and that the correct applicant is processed.

    · Candidate shall check the pass applicant's details on the system against an existing set of Framework to determine if the pass applicant is eligible to be issued with the pass to enter Jurong Island.

    · The Candidate shall be required to countercheck his or her work and update their supervisor before allowing or denying the applicant from entering Jurong Island.

    (iii) Referring applicants' screening results to supervisor

    · Should a pass applicant be assessed ineligible for entry into Jurong Island, the Candidate shall be required to update their supervisor to ensure that the applicant has been correctly screened.

    · The decision shall be routed via the Candidate's inbox back to the Jurong Island Checkpoint where the appropriate action will be taken.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    · Minimum education level of GCE 'O' levels or National ITE Certification (NITEC);

    · Be able to maintain total confidentiality of all documents handled and information received during the course of work;

    · Possess basic knowledge and application of Microsoft Office skills, and be able to operate any screening System and/or reporting system put in place by the Authority;

    · Be receptive to learning new skills and be able to apply on-the-job training effectively; and possess a Pleasant disposition to facilitate interactions among colleagues and inter- agency counterparts.

    · The Candidates shall be deployed to an office situated at the Jurong Island Checkpoint.
