    Roles & Responsibilities

    Your role

    Our major Oil & Energy Client is urgently looking for an Assistant Maintenance Engineer who will report to the Maintenance Team Lead and assist the Maintenance Engineer on the day-to-day maintenance execution activities. You will execute the planned scheduled maintenance work with high expectations on safety and quality with the residential contractors.

    You will work closely with operation personnel, OMC and multi-disciplines Engineers, Planner, Scheduler, and Contractors on the plant related issues with compliance to Maintenance Engineering (ME) process, work on a holistic execution plans and timely feedback on the status to the various stakeholders.

    Moreover, you will need to resolve the field execution related conflicts with various disciplines work parties and contractors. You will supervise the contractors' work quality and safety to meeting site Quality and HSSE requirements for the various stages from planning, preparations, job executions and GSAP close out. You will provide nightshift support and execution on the plant shutdown work for the planned (PITSTOP) and unplanned (Ad-hoc Emergency) manner when required to ensure plant reliability and availability of the process equipment and meeting the business plans.

    You will work closely with various disciplines on deliverables of the execution plan and safe work executions on the maintenance activities with goal zero mindset and with superior work quality delivered. You will be responsible for planning and execution of minor MOC project with high deliverable on safety, quality and compliance to company policy and carrying out minor equipment troubleshooting on the process related equipment.

    In addition, you will be responsible for streamlining the work processes and actively looking out for continue improvement opportunities in running the maintenance and shutdown activities with optimum cost saving, safety, and quality.

    You are what we are looking for if you:

    • Have Diploma in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical)
    • Have minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in maintenance execution, preferably in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Chemical Industry
    • Have strong interpersonal, coordination, planning skills and are proficient in business software (MS office, Autocad / 3D model GSAP &P6)
    • Are flexible and able to adapt to project schedule (able to work extended hours, night work assignment and weekend duty based on the work requirements)
