The Role Responsibilities
The role holder is globally responsible for

  • The daytoday management of the Employee Advocacy Process Universe ("EAdPU") and Employee Advocacy operational risks, supporting Employee Advocacy GPOs in their areas of responsibility.
  • Leveraging and developing Employee Advocacy data, systems and technology.
  • Managing Employee Advocacy reporting and audits/assurance reviews.
  • Ensuring close alignment between ER Specialists onshore and ER teams operating on a rightshored basis (including ER Operations in GPS).

The core responsibilities of the role include

Audits, Assurance Review and Reporting

  • Responsible for determining and finalising responses to (i) internal/external audits and assurance reviews and (ii) external regulatory, legal and other information requests impacting Employee Advocacy.
  • Responsible for obtaining endorsement and approval for these responses from the relevant Employee Advocacy LT members in a timely manner.

Data and Insights

  • Partnering with the Head, Employee Advocacy Strategy and Development to develop an ER data strategy which delivers the ER vision, supports the ER TOM, and enables the delivery of meaningful insights on ER matters to senior stakeholders.
Partnering with the Regional ER Heads, ER Operations, People Insights & Analytics ("PIA") and ER Data Analyst to

  • Understand Group and Regional ER reporting needs.
  • Ensure these are supported by selfservice and/or the services of PIA or the ER Data Analyst, as appropriate.

Technology, Vendors and Systems

  • Managing Employee Advocacy vendors and vendor relationships (e.g., in relation to career transition services).

In partnership with ER Operations

  • Driving the ER technology agenda (including, where appropriate, digitisation/automation).
  • Maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of systems used to implement ER products, processes and advisory services (including Success Factors and ServiceNow).
  • Ensuring these systems are appropriately implemented, working in partnership with the HR Digital Transformation team.
  • Devising thoughtful training and engagement to enable ER Specialists to effectively utilise systems and technology.

Employee Advocacy Process Universe and Operational Risk Management

  • Supporting the Employee Advocacy GPOs in proactively reviewing the EAdPU and ensuring the EAdPU is uptodate, streamlined, efficient, easy to access, and delivers a positive employee experience (while managing peoplerelated risk) in partnership with the HR Governance and Controls team.
  • Collaborating with the HR Governance and Controls team to define and actively manage the operational risks associated with the Employee Advocacy agenda.
  • Leading the annual Employee Advocacy Risk and Control Self-Assessment processes, supported by the ER Business Advisor.
  • Managing control implementation, control sample testing and risk remediation.

ER Operations

  • Regularly liaising with the ER Operations team on delivery to ensure ER Operations is aligned to the ER vision and strategy.
  • Promoting open communications between the ERLT and ER Operations to ensure ER Operations has clarity on the ER vision, strategy and delivery expectations.
  • Tracking performance progress against agreed operational KPIs and supporting the ER Operations team in addressing any delivery issues.

Stakeholder Relationships

  • Developing and maintaining productive and positive partnerships with the EAdLT, ERLT, HR Digital Transformation team, HR Governance and Controls team, ITO and external vendors to enable delivery of the above items.
