Your Role

• Review surgical schedules and patient charts
• Sterilize instruments and set up surgical tables with the required equipment and drapes
• Familiarize with the specific procedure and arranging instruments in the order likely to be used
• Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available
• Adhere to strict aseptic technique throughout the procedure to prevent infections
• Respond quickly and precisely to the surgeon's requests
• Ensure proper decontamination and preparation for future use
• Record details of procedure
• Help move the patient safely out of the operating room
• Replenish used materials for next surgery

What We Are Looking For

We encourage nurses with the following criteria to apply:

• Demonstrated passion for patients and nursing.
• Proven experience as a Scrub Nurse
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance.
• Good understanding of relevant surgical instruments and procedures.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility across all rostered theatre sessions

Compensation

$75,000 to $110,000 per year

Australia (Specific location within Australia will be confirmed upon being shortlisted after interview.)
