Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Lead the annual budgeting process, influencing and challenging the business/top down submissions by product and segment.
Monitoring, understanding and challenging of performance for Corporate Banking/Investment Banking Operations.
Manage the month end process.
Provision of meaningful and insightful analysis on costs. To include explanation of key variances and preparation of commentaries on functional performance.
Developing and maintaining an appropriate MIS reporting infrastructure produced by the offshore team to assist in the assessment of functional performance.
Provision of advisory support with respect to development of strategic plans / annual business plans and new product development from a financial perspective.
Develop and enhance relationships with Corporate Banking/Investment Banking Finance and other teams within the Group to ensure consistency of support, approach, and knowledge sharing.
Involvement in Technology & Operations Finance and Group Finance projects.
Review and enhance financial controls to minimise finance operational risk.
Identify and implement process improvements, including the migration of activities to offshore support team.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

Prior 8+ experience.
University educated, preferably graduated or graduating from Masters soon.
Qualified Accountant i.e. CPA, CMA, ACCA or on path to acquiring qualifications.
