Business Solution Analyst, Office of Integrated Information Technology Services - Central Region

Job description
- Engage stakeholders from different training units to gather and validate business requirements, workflows, and data needs.
- Analyse existing processes and propose optimised workflows enabled by the new TMS.
- Develop detailed business and functional requirement documents, use cases, and data mappings.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, and sign-offs with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the vendor/implementation partner to ensure accurate system configuration and validation.
- Support testing (SIT, UAT), data migration, and training preparation.
- Document as-is and to-be processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements (e.g. SkillsFuture Singapore/TPG).
- Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and data extracts needed for operational and management reporting.
- Provide post-go-live support for issue triaging and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or process improvement projects.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process design, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms, data integration concepts, and training or education-sector workflows will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with system integration to SMU systems such as finance, HR, student information system, alumni information system, faculty information system, learning management platforms as well as external and 3rd party systems.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced project environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
