Role Overview:


The Client Advisor is the first touchpoint for prospective clients, and works towards creating a positive and impressive experience leading to an engagement opportunity.


You will need to demonstrate consultative sales skills and the ability to creatively generate leads, build lasting client relationships and close deals.

In the process of doing so, you will work closely with students and parents to understand students' aspirations, develop a strategic roadmap aligned with their profile, and recommend a personalized plan of suitable programs to support them in achieving their goals.


You will also work with institutional partners to identify, create, and establish long term partnerships to extend IvyPrep's reach for potential target clients.

You will demonstrate a willingness to hunt for opportunities and continually seek ways to expand IvyPrep's business.

Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

You should enjoy working with diverse group of individuals and partners and are motivated and flexible working in dynamic and fast paced team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively reach out to potential clients / partners / relevant stakeholders to broaden IvyPrep's reach in supporting students with university admissions preparation / test preparation for standardized admissions tests identify and contact decisionmakers, screen potential opportunities, and follow through to build lasting relationships
  • Respond promptly to enquiries to promote IvyPrep's services and hold consults with prospective clients and partners in a professional manner and that aligns with IvyPrep's brand and culture
  • Develop deep knowledge of overseas university systems, testing requirements and latest developments / trends in admissions and testing, and be able to share them with clients to guide them towards selecting options best suited for them
  • Understand students' academic goals and aspirations, and strengths and weaknesses, and build a personalized plan for students with the recommended test preparation and consulting programs and the respective consultants, tutors / mentors
  • Based on recommended plan, discuss options and costs with clients and follow through to engagement
  • Follow up with prospective clients in a timely and effective manner, and address any remaining questions / concerns clearly and satisfactorily
  • Successfully close sales / deals with individual clients as well as institutions / other businesses / partners

Requirements:


  • Degree from a reputable local or overseas university
  • Professional level written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin is essential
  • Experience in sales and/or business development is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Growthoriented mindset and goal/objective driven
  • Ability to work well independently and reliably in a small, fast paced team environment
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and go the extra mile
  • All experience levels are welcome
