In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the high availability and performance of our databases, resolve issues promptly, and implement best practices to enhance the database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade database software (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) for optimal performance.
Perform regular database backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Monitor database systems to ensure high availability and performance, proactively resolving issues.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data.
Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools for continuous improvement.
Create and maintain documentation on database configurations, procedures, and policies.
Participate in oncall support as needed to address critical database incidents.

What you will bring in:

Proven experience as an Applications Database Administrator (Apps DBA).
Indepth knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
Proficiency in SQL and database optimization techniques.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a bonus.
