Maritime Insurance Coordinator - Singapore - Maritime Singapore Connect

Wallem Group
- Handle Crew, H&M and other insurance claims and maintain records and trends for Illness, Injury and H&M claims
- Maintain budget and update fleet superintendent and accounts for costs related to OPA 90 / Panama documents
- Liaise with owners, clients and brokers for approvals for US related documents and other ancillary covers
- Maintain updated Claims Status Reports and prepare List of Hull underwriters and P&I clubs
- Maintain and renew Wallem ancillary covers including PA, Sea going Wives and Cash in Transit
- Manage brokers declaration for ancillary covers and review Loss records for Owners and Wallem Ships
- Renew P&I/ Hull insurance and coordinate in renewing CLC, WRC and MLC certificates
- Declaration of Tankers calls to USA for persistent/ non persistent cargo
Job Requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Maritime / Shipping or Certificate in Marine Insurance or relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling marine insurance claims
- Knowledge of GI Club, P&I rules and H&M clauses
- Strong communicator with a good command of English
