Description
Responsibilities
- Familiarise with key company products i.e. PLC, Control Panel, alarms and pressure/temperature sensors etc.
- Design and review of technical documentations i.e. Mechanical and electrical drawings etc.
- Perform service maintenance and troubleshoot for Praxis automation systems (Onboard and Inhouse).
- Inhouse and onsite testing and commissioning of project system.
- Design user interface for system monitoring/control functions according to project specification.
- Collaborate with sales team, clients and external vendors during projects and services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Diploma & Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field
- Onboard background or equivalent with vessel system knowledge
- Electrical/electronic component knowledge will be preferred
- Able to learn and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in design and calculation software.
- Experienced in the below fields of relevance or equivalent will be a plus.
- Ship automation
- Applicable codes related to electronic engineering (IEC 1131)
- PLC programming and troubleshooting using structure text programming.
- Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills
