Description

Looking for a Biomedical Engineering Assistant

Location:
Central

Working Hours:
Mon-Fri, Office Hours

Provide technical support in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of medical equipment to all hospital personnel
Supervise and ensure that all medical equipment maintenance work done by specialist vendors and appointed contractors meets quality standards and are in compliance to standards
Update and collect feedback from users regularly on the maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of medical equipment
Check, analyse and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on medical equipment and assist Biomedical Engineers in mapping out and implementing necessary action plans
Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices set out by the hospital, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and department
Perform inventory management for supplies and spares needed for front line technical support, and assist in related documentation
Assist Biomedical Engineers in coordinating services for medical equipment projects with vendors, contractors and appointed project consultants
Other adhoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
Preferably with 35 years' of practical experience in a healthcare setting
Possess high standards of professionalism and able to communicate well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
