Purchasing and Admin Executive

The Procurement Executive will be in charge of daily procurement activities such as sourcing, reviewing and purchasing the most cost-effective materials/items needed.

The incumbent must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Source and evaluate new vendors for supply of identified materials for company's portfolio of business.
Able to negotiate with existing and new vendors to ensure timely delivery in most costefficient manner within agreed budget.
Track and monitor delivery of purchased items within agreed schedule and confirm delivery of items per agreed specifications by respective vendors.
Continuously refresh strategies to adapt to evolving business needs and external factors, ensuring a resilient and sustainable supply chain.
Identify and develop relationships with potential new suppliers,

including startups, to enhance supplier diversity and innovation. Stay abreast of market trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement and competitiveness.

Oversee warehouse and inventory management processes to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for project requirements.
Conduct periodic review of existing vendors, provide and execute recommendations to ensure vendor performance on pricing, quality and delivery.
Provide support to management in reviewing and recommending procurement policies including use of appropriate tools to meet company's evolving business needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement position
Able to manage a multitude of projects and/ or vendors simultaneously
Meticulous and strong attention to details to ensure correct capture and issuing of orders
Work experience in similar position within construction industry
