Job Scope:

Reports to Production Supervisor. The job holder is required to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine performs regular maintenance of machines and adheres to safety standards.

Job Description:

• Studies work orders, materials, specifications, engineering drawings and machining parameters interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Programs machine by entering instructions, including zero and reference points setting tool registers, offsets.
• Sets-up turning and milling machines by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings etc.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces adhering to Pascal Industries' standards.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations taking measurements detecting malfunctions troubleshooting processes adjusting and reprogramming controls sharpening and replacing worn tools adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements troubleshooting malfunctions calling for repairs.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Meets departmental goals and quality targets.
• Perform 5S on production floor and ensures that safety is observed at all times.
• Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
