Description

•Familiar with design automation, eg conveyor, palletiser

•Design using computer-aided design and drafting software (CAD, Solidworks)

•Take ownership of designs and drawings for projects assigned.

•Provide detailed designs from rough sketches and specifications

•Specify dimensions, materials and user manual for new products

•Prepare different versions of designs for review by management

•Prepare drawings for sheet metal components

•Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements

•Plan and coordinate own work as well as produce schedules for assigned tasks

•Collaborate with all project related personnel on site on day-to-day progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of project

•Compile data and specifications sheets

•Accurately document and update information in written or electronic form
