What the role is
You will be part of the team based in Fort Canning Park to plan, develop, source, curate and manage both new and existing exhibitions in Fort Canning Heritage Gallery, Spice Gallery and other attractions in the park that include, but not limited to coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to implement the exhibitions as well as education and outreach programmes and activities related to the exhibitions.
What you will be working on
You will work with both internal and external partners to manage the educational programmes and activities at venues in the park.
Your duties will also include coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to manage operations for events held in the park, ensuring smooth execution of programmes such as heritage tours and the management of park volunteers.
What we are looking for
- Degree in History, Archaeology, Arts or any other related discipline
- Keen interest in Singapore history and greenery
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills, and able to multitask and work under pressure
- Meticulous, with a keen attention for details
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
