Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Responsible for the quality and regulatory compliance of products manufactured at Suppliers and External Manufacturers.
Participate in new product development team activities in the development and qualification of suppliers.
Conduct Supplier Qualification and ensure phases are completed adequately including areas in planning, selection of potential supplier, supplier evaluation and acceptance and other activities as needed.
Conduct annual supplier quality system audits to ensure suppliers are in compliance to Celestica's Quality Management System requirements, ISO requirements, FDA requirements and GMP requirements.
Support teams to investigate quality issues (Failure investigations) to resolve complaints, non conforming products and CAPA.
Initiate Supplier Corrective and Preventative Action reports and perform efficacy follow up.
Participate and collaborate with Supply chain, Production, Program Management and Engineering to identify potential areas of process variability, address root causes and implement improvements.
Track and drive supplier improvement to meet factory and customers' quality expectation.
Manage quality goal and metrices to measure success of quality control / improvement processes.
Conduct parts qualification/certification through first article inspection.
Familiar with APQP and PPAP Tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with shifting and competing priorities.
Ability to travel as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in related disciplines
2 to 4 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards and processes
Knowledge of software as used in generating reports capturing data & presenting data in an understandable format
Knowledge of manufacturing processes Understand quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology, etc.
Understand Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen.
Knowledge and understanding of the business unit and how decisions impact customer satisfaction product quality ,ontime delivery and profitability of the unit
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers
