Description

The position:

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for day-to-day accounting and preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting, in line with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on accounting and reporting activities.
  • Manage activities regarding cost control, cost allocation followup, compliance, and audit support.
  • Support the company's corporate income tax reporting.
  • Be responsible for the company's Singapore statistics reporting.
  • Recommend and implement internal control improvement processes.
  • Liaise in a matrix organisation i.e. with controllers, tax managers.
  • Collaborate closely with the companies outsourced accounting service provider and vendors.

For this position, we are also looking for:

  • A degree in Accountancy and an accreditation to work as an Accountant in Singapore (e.g. CPA/CA, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience within accountancy, auditing, or financial reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and Singapore Accounting Standards.
  • Experience working for international public accounting firms, and on a regional APAC portfolio.
  • Solid skills in accounting, tax matters, Inter and Intra company cost allocations, internal controls, SOX, performance management, subsidiary, and consolidation accounting.
  • Strong working proficiency in SAP as well as experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • A team player, flexible and proactive, with strong collaboration skills. Fluency in written and verbal English.
