Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.

In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


Responsibilities

  • Provide custodial services to our Securities Services (SS) clients.
  • Part of Central Utility team to support the daytoday processing of digital asset custody.
  • Perform safelisting of wallet address
  • Perform name screening (EWSS)
  • Coin purity screening (Elliptic)
  • Perform asset transfer in and transfer out
  • Monitoring of settlement status of cash and assets
  • Support the daily business operations of Securities Settlement in foreign markets
  • Support processing of cash payments
  • Prepare and/or authorize accounting entries


  • Reconciliation

  • Provide resolution of breaks related to settlement activities
  • Active involvement in adhoc projects, new initiatives and Live Verification tests
  • Maintain updated standard operating procedures and adherence to risk and changes in global operating environment
  • Stay abreast in the securities market by reading circulars from subcustodians, custodian magazines & journal
  • Build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders such as the Client Service Managers, subcustodians, Risk and all internal/external teams
  • Ensure all internal and external service standards are met while complying with policies, requirements and best practices
  • Generate and use MIS Data to understand volume trends, settlement/prematching rates, etc
  • Strive for continuous improvement/optimization of existing processes
  • Hybrid work arrangement (WIO (DBS Asia Hub or DBS Asia Gateway Office), WFH)

Requirements:


  • Able to work on 4 rotational shifts, including public holidays and weekends
  • Knowledge and experience in securities Custody operations, especially in Settlements, will be an advantage
  • Familiar with Digital Assets and distributed ledger technology will be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage and lead discussion with stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical, detailed oriented with a growth mindset
  • Selfdriven and taskoriented
  • Ability to multitask and enjoy working in a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Team player as well as ability to work independently under mínimal supervision
