Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and support highly available LAN, WLAN, WAN and data center networks.
• Track all equipment RMAs and ensure that proper levels of spare inventory are maintained.
• On-site client support and user escalations base on incidents and service requests
• Test and validate all new hardware and connections for proper configuration and performance
• Troubleshoots and resolves critical network and system issues.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• 5+ years progressively responsible experience in network engineering/architecture
• Strong understanding in LAN Cisco technologies, Proxies (Z-Scaler), WIFI Cisco environment, Firewall (PaloAlto) and VPN
• Hands on experience on High end Switches (Cisco Nexus Switches, Aruba switches, Aruba Wireless, Dell Switches, Infoblox DNS and DHCP)
• Experience in pharma industry is mandatory.
• Detailed knowledge of network concepts and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, Load Balancing.
• In depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast, QOS Certifications are desirable, including CCNA & CCNP.
• Experience of consolidated networks (voice / video / data) and associated management technologies (QoS, (Cisco), Traffic Shaping
• Experience with monitoring tools like Netops, Spectrum, Wireshark.
• In depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast, QOS
