The Role
The Logistics Executive reports to the Group Chief Commercial & Operating Officer - Long Term Position - Top Niche Specialised Technology Integrator focused on Mission Critical Markets in Indonesia with close relationships with top US/European/Asian technology OEM's - US$XXXM annually - 20th Floor Samsung Hub - High Class 7* Office Environment


The Commercial & Operations functions oversees presales & post sales activities including Purchase & Procurement for Equipment for Bid Contracts and working with the overseas Sales & Customer facing teams.

Job Description & Experience

  • Maintain full spectrum of daily Logistics & Shipment administration and documentations (deliveries, freights, bills and customers' enquiries)
  • Work closely with Overseas Sales/Customer Facing teams, Indonesia team as well as Finance & Purchase teams, suppliers, customers and forwarders for shipments, deliveries, etc
  • Coordinating of shipments, prepare shipping documents and invoices and attend to enquiries on status of shipments, freight costs, etc
  • Maintain logistics databases and assist in the preparation of the transportation and distribution statistics for analysis
  • Checking and verifying freight invoices based on prices quoted and ensuring full set of documents are received for payment and audit purposes
  • Manage freight forwarders and external logistics providers to ensure ontime deliveries of goods & services and competitive quotes and pricing
  • Prepares monthly reports on shipments, freight, inventory warehouse and other costs, where required
  • Monitor inventory at warehouse regularly & ensure efficient stock management
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve problems on deliveries, cargo damages, payments and complaints
  • Handle loss or damage and return goods if such discrepancies arise

Ideal Profile

Skills Required:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistic, or related discipline
  • Min. 2 years' relevant experience in logistic industry or international trade related experiences in technology products in the Technology field
  • Telecom/IT/Software & Hardware products is preferred
  • Ability to work independently, as team player and meticulous
  • Familiar with Incoterms, transcontinental transportation matters including shipments and dealing with Government customers
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with Customers in Indonesia is preferred
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous
