Roles & Responsibilities

We are representing our client (A Software Engineering Firm) to look for Senior/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to complement their existing team. Candidates with more experience can be considered for senior roles.

Responsibilities:

Define, deploy and manage cloud-based workloads, security and compliance controls.
Monitor, analyse and identify infrastructure for vulnerabilities, and applying appropriate mitigations and resolution.
Implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
Managing cloud resources and provisioning capacity as needed
Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to end-users
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that improve cloud-based applications and services
Regularly review existing services and keeping up to date with industry trends and new cloud offerings
Propose and recommend enhancements and new capabilities.
Troubleshooting and patching OS such as Microsoft Windows (2016/2019), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (8/7/9), Microsoft Windows 10/11

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering/ relevant field with proven technical knowledge and expertise.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
Proficient in application such as Microsoft Active Directory, Apache, Microsoft IIS
Experienced in Backup (Veritas, Symantec NetBackup), Firewall, Network appliance and Cybersecurity products
Experienced with AWS and Azure infrastructures
Cloud certifications like AWS, Azure or GCP will be preferred
Experienced in installation, configuration, scripting, administration and investigation tasks in the cloud platform.
Strong knowledge in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
