- Effectively and instinctually use knowledge of domain integration and deeper understandings of multiple curriculum models to make sound instructional decisions and enrich the existing curriculum framework

- Proactively plan and facilitate collaboration with other teachers, allied professionals and other partners, for effective planning and execution of development strategies for the learner and their caregivers
- Guide and enhance collaboration of the teachers with caregivers and other stakeholders for a person-centred planning for learning and life goals, and for contextualization and generalization of learning in the learner's home and community
- Lead in Professional Learning Circles (PLCs)
- Participate or lead in teams to implement organizational or unit wide initiatives to achieve Rainbow Centre's goals and objectives
- Engage actively in self-reflective practice, supervision and other professional development activities for improved professional practice
- Plan, support and provide feedback towards the professional development of teaching team members
- Lead in reflection through small-scale classroom action research that enhances instructional practice
- Relevant Degree/Diploma holder with SDESN
- At least 6 years of experience as a classroom teacher, of which at least 3 years must have been in a similar environment
- Able to handle the physical demands of the role, such as lifting and carrying the students and equipment, and cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead peers, establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Roles & ResponsibilitiesMake an impact as a Senior Early Interventionist
The Early Interventionist is responsible for providing quality and effective learning experiences for students through the best delivery of the curriculum and use of effective teaching and classroom management strategies.
To enable this, the Senior Early Interventionist leads a teaching team, partners family members, allied professionals, community and other relevant stakeholders, engages in reflective practice and professional and personal development, and continuously seeks to innovate and enhance teaching and learning practices. He/she is responsible for leading a teaching team in its planning, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning for the students in his/her care, and in its close collaboration with allied professionals, caregivers and other key stakeholders.
