Research Fellow - Singapore - NANYANG TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A Research Fellow position is currently available in the College of Business, Nanyang Business School.

Key Responsibilities:

Working and interacting with researchers at IRFRC and GAIP, with emphasis on:

• Analyze the impact of sea level rise and coastal flood risk on the cost of coverage, particularly in Asian countries
• Conduct climate scenario analysis to assess an evaluate sea level rise risk
• Develop innovative solutions for providing protection
• Develop impactful assessment and advisory reports as needed to support the development of risk financing solutions
• Produce high quality research articles and industry reports
• Present research findings to GAIP sponsors and the academic community

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Insurance, Statistics, or related fields
• Proven research experience with a track record of publications in top-tier journals in the field
• Relevant insurance/actuarial industry experience and actuarial designations are assets, but not are not mandatory requirements
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly effectiveness in communicating complex concepts to the public
• Attention to detail
