- Assist with basic accounting functions such as preparing financial documents, including bills, invoices, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Enter financial information into appropriate software programs.
- Manage company ledgers and assist in closing the books monthly.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls, processing mail, and scheduling appointments.
- Generate financial reports as required.
- Respond to accounting inquiries from colleagues in a timely manner.
- Support the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, etc
- At least a Diploma or certification in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g.,Xero).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
