Description
What the role is
- You will support key industry and community partnership initiatives by NParks relating to social enterprises and community groups.
What you will be working on
- Outreach and engagement of social enterprises as part of the Social Enterprise Community Urban Farm (SECUF) initiative and various community groups such as Grassroots and volunteer groups interested in City in Naturerelated topics
- Prepare marketing and publicity materials including brochures, posters and oversee microsite and social media accounts created to support the industry and community partnership initiatives under the team's purview
- Plan and execute a volunteer management programme for communityrelated initiatives
- Support research studies that evaluate effectiveness of industry and community programmes implemented by the team
- Manage funding matters pertaining to communityrelated initiatives
What we are looking for
- Someone who enjoys engagement work with different stakeholder groups such as community groups, nonprofit organisations and industry
- Experience in stakeholder management, creating collaterals, generating content for websites and grant management
- A good team player who is also able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Meticulous with eye for detail
- Able to work on weekends and after office hours for events and outreach, where necessary
