Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, programmers, suppliers, and stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects focused on green marine systems for marine vessels within defined timelines and budgets.
Coordinate and oversee engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project plans, standards, and regulatory requirements
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of green marine system projects.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate and track procurement activities for green marine system components.
Prepare and deliver project progress reports, presentations, and technical documentation to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in the marine, shipbuilding or relevant industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering engineering projects.
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management software.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.

Salary:
$2, $5,711.96 per month
