Our client is an energy commodities trading firm looking to hire someone for their finance team in Singapore

Our client, a Specialist financing and distribution platform for real assets globally across the debt capital structure, is looking for a seasoned finance professional which main duties will be:

• Become a trusted advisor: Build strong partnerships with business units through clear communication and collaboration.
• Fuel business success: Provide financial analysis and support throughout the business planning process.
• Navigate deals with expertise: Assist with structuring and executing trades, leveraging your financial knowledge.
• Sharpen financial performance: Analyze financial data, track metrics, and offer insightful reports to management.
• Keep us on track: Perform month-end financial closes and ensure accurate reporting for business units and the entire firm.
• Plan for the future: Support the creation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
• Be a key contributor: Prepare presentations for board meetings and participate in special projects that drive company growth.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance, Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in business finance, performance management or management reporting in major banks or financial institutions
• Good working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and accounting principles
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills and knowledge of financial modelling
