**About the Job

Reporting to the Senior Service Manager, the
Service Engineer is responsible for the repair service, maintenance, and calibration of equipment within Olympus and/or Evident brand in our South-East Asia region.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, contribute to client satisfaction, and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our equipment in various materials and structures testing.

This role will cover the product line of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

The incumbent will have the opportunity to work with global community across APAC, China, US and EMEA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support repair, maintenance, and calibration for Nondestructive Testing (NDT) products.
  • Collaborate closely with customers & our distributors to understand their specific requirements, address inquiries, and provide technical guidance. Establish and maintain professional relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • When necessary, visiting customer sites to carry out further troubleshoot, diagnostics, calibration and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform calibration, interpreting results to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive and detailed service reports, evaluation reports, recommendations, and quotation for customer.
  • Adhere to established quality control processes and procedures to maintain the highest level of accuracy and reliability after repair and calibration.
  • Providing technical support to the Sales team for the potential sale of new instruments, including answering technical questions and occasionally running instrument demos.
  • Prioritize safety at all times, following established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Manage and organize assign projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with other teams.

Formal Qualifications

  • Possesses minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines

Key Skills / Core Competencies

  • Minimum 2 year of related work experience in repair and calibration of NDT instruments
  • Highly organized with superior customer service skills
  • Excellent communications skills, highly selfmotivated and able to work to meet agreed deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong positive "can do" attitude is extremely important
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
