Our client is a leading feeder solutions provider in the maritime industry.
We are seeking for an experienced global marketing cand for the position of a Senior Manage or Manager role, Global Customer engagement/ Marketing.
Summary
:
The Global Customer Engagement (GCE) department is responsible for promoting and developing the firm's relationship with the world's biggest Container Shipping companies at HQ and Regional HQ levels.
As a Senior Manager or Manager, you will be responsible for
managing and projecting customers' business requirement in order to generate growth, partnership and other business opportunities.
This is essentially a global marketing role requiring the cand to be equipped with global key account management skills. We are also seeking for a strong communicator with excellent influencing skills to interact with external customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities
:
- Global Account Manager for 23 corporate customers in the shipping industry;
- For a senior mgr, you will manage a team of 23 pax whom might be fellow account managers and/or Asst Account Managers; For a manager, no people management responsibility is required
- For accounts that you and your team are managing, you are to strategize, define and implement growth in volume and revenue on a global basis;
- Building multilevel relationship and rapport with key customers globally; going deeper, wider and higher into the customers organisation. This is to develop the customer intimacy that is needed to put ourselves in a more competitive position;
- Be up to speed on knowing your customers' strategies and develop plans/deals to align ourselves to their needs;
- Measure, track and analyze key account metrics;
- Persuade and influence regional marketing teams and business units to ensure proper management and implementation of strategies for your respective customers;
- All round understanding of the market, the global products offer by customer and competitor; and
- Work closely with other Global Account Managers, Business Unit Directors, Trade Departments & Senior Management.
- Ensuring that commercial processes are reviewed regularly and updated; and
- Best practices of contract administration are shared amongst regional hubs.
Requirements
:
- **Minimum Bachelor degree with at least 5 to 10 years of global marketing/ key account management exp gained in the shipping/ logistics industry. (For a Mgr role, min 5 years of relevant experience is required. For a Senior Mgr
- min 10 years of relevant experience is required)**:
Experience in key account management /marketing and building relationships with MNCs in the shipping sector with global footprint is essential

Able to travel overseas (regionally/globally) as part of business requirements. The travel is estimated to be about 30% but this may vary.

- Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
- Added proficiency in Mandarin is a huge plus as the role may liaise with Chinese customers in Chinese.
