    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategically expand our fleet's operational capabilities by identifying and securing vessels and business opportunities for chartering, including the negotiation and drafting of charter agreements, to ensure the timely delivery and readiness of vessels for projects.
    • Lead the recruitment and selection process for crew members, conducting interviews and orientations to align with the company's policies and procedures, thereby ensuring a competent and compliant workforce.
    • Manage the intricate logistics of vessel movements, including applying for and coordinating necessary manifests for vessels entering and exiting project sites, to streamline operations and minimize delays.
    • Oversee the comprehensive documentation process for vessel operations, including but not limited to securing port and immigration clearances, and ensuring all interactions with government and statutory departments are conducted efficiently to maintain operational fluidity.
    • Guarantee the safety and compliance of all vessels by instituting rigorous monitoring protocols and maintaining open lines of communication with vessel captains regarding their locations and operational status.
    • Assume responsibility for the fleet's insurance portfolio, from maintaining detailed records and documentation to liaising with insurance providers and crew in the event of a claim, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
    • Conduct thorough reviews and verifications of all documents and certificates for newly acquired vessels, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards and are seamlessly integrated into the fleet.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent
    • At least 4 years of relevant experience in fleet/vessel operations in the Marine / Shipping industries
    • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, vessel operations, and maintenance requirements.
    • Willing to travel overseas
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
