    Description

    The Senior Consultant position is based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Consulting at DDI Singapore. The key responsibilities for this position include being the subject matter expert on leadership development, the designing and delivery of DDI's leadership solutions, and the successful implementation for every client engagement.

    Responsibilities:

    Subject Matter Expert

  • Supports the business development teams by offering in-depth analysis, advice and presentations in sales meetings, client proposals and other pre-sales situations.
  • Participate in internal and external marketing events to effectively present DDI's thought leadership and promote DDI's brand to its target audience.
  • Raise DDI visibility at our corporate website and social media by contributing to useful thought leadership articles that meet the needs of local audience.
  • Provide input and thought leadership on DDI's selection technologies as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with DDI consultants, sales associates and other internal partners across the world.
  • Design & Delivery of DDI's solutions

  • Develop in-depth understanding of each client's needs in order to design and recommend clients with the best solution for their business and organizational needs.
  • Design and implement large scale leadership solutions involving multiple senior leadership stakeholders using DDI's full range of leadership assessment, selection and development solutions.
  • Ensure project profitability by working closely with the business development team and project implementation team.
  • For Development projects (primary role), ensure the effective execution of the following:
  • Design of leadership development roadmap and learning journey
  • Design and implement any customization requests from clients to meet their specific needs.
  • Facilitate leadership development courses at all levels of leadership in different modalities
  • Work with Consulting Associates to design and implement effective cohort operation practices where appropriate
  • Work with Consulting Associates to implement impact evaluation and take necessary corrective actions
  • For Executive Services projects (secondary role), ensure the effective execution of the following:
  • Interface and establish credibility with senior executives to identify business drivers, complete competency mapping, assessment design and implementation for assessment projects
  • Develop the "big picture" interpretation of executives through integration of behavior assessment with perceptual, personality and other test data
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and feedback summarizing overall performance trends and dimension level behaviors including result interpretation
  • Project Management

  • Accountable for managing client relationships, savvy at navigating through challenging situations, and able to manage project mechanics for assigned projects to achieve profitability and implementation goals.
  • Provide high level, integrated consulting to assist clients in evaluating and implementing DDI solutions on an on-going basis.
  • Develop and manage long term strategic business relationships to generate revenue, penetrate and expand DDI's business.
  • Collaborate with other consultants on Global projects to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of DDI's services.
  • Management of Contractors

  • Identify and recruit suitable contractors to deliver DDI's solutions to meet client's needs.
  • Equip and develop contractors with the relevant DDI knowledge and skills to meet the standards of DDI's delivery.
  • Deploy and manage contractors to implement DDI's solutions to clients to meet both the client's and DDI's goals.
  • Ensure a high standard of delivery of contractors by providing feedback to contractors periodically.
  • Requirements
  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably with qualifications in Human Resources and Learning and Development.
  • More than 8 years as a practicing consultant, facilitator or coach with a diverse range of clients from multiple industries
  • Proven experience in leading and managing HR projects including talent management, competency design, leadership development and succession management
  • High degree of business acumen, with diverse experience both within and outside fields of HR is an advantage
  • Outstanding communication, sales presentation, negotiation and inter-personal skills
  • Able to quickly and accurately assess clients' needs and develop innovative solutions
  • Strong enthusiasm in developing people, specializing in the designing and facilitating leadership development workshops
  • Results and outcomes focused to ensure goals are met
  • Able to work well in collaboration with team members in Singapore and other countries in the region
  • Technology savvy and well versed in the use of video conference platforms for facilitated learning including MS Teams, Zoom and other relevant learning platforms.
